Donate 20VB to the Smile Foundation Every child deserves a strong sense of self - an essential foundation for reaching their greatest potential. At Smile Foundation, we are dedicated to changing the lives of South African children living with facial conditions and burns, ensuring they receive the life-changing care they deserve. We believe meaningful change happens when the right people come together at the right time. Our non-profit organisation partners with 17 academic hospitals across South Africa, facilitating expert surgical interventions and providing comprehensive pre- and post-operative care for children affected by facial paralysis, cleft lip and palate, craniofacial abnormalities, ear, nose, and hand conditions, and burn wounds. Beyond surgeries, we are committed to strengthening South Africa’s public healthcare system. Our contributions include funding essential medical equipment, upgrading facilities within Departments of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and sponsoring academic and skills training programmes for medical professionals. We also provide holistic support to children and their families throughout their medical journey. From psychological counselling to transportation and accommodation assistance, we strive to create a network of care that nurtures emotional well-being and recovery.
